Inglot is a brand that I have fallen in love with in the last year. The Inglot AMC black gel liner in 77 is an absolute staple for any makeup artist because it is the blackest gel eyeliner you will ever come across, and once applied this will not budge!
I was introduced to the brand by Nisha Davdra who introduces me to the most amazing stuff ALL THE TIME. Seriously, go subscribe to her YouTube channel, she is hilarious and so knowledgeable about makeup. You can see the video here.
Anyway, back to the pigments. I was having a play at their Westfield White City store and fell in love with the intensity of the pigments when applied with their Duraline fluid which makes any cream or powder waterproof and does not budge.
You see where I’m going with this? This stuff does not budge!
Now, as a makeup artist and someone who prefers to keep the makeup on my face and not sliding all over, I’ve been very impressed with their entire range.
They’re all so affordable and for makeup artists, they offer a 20% discount which makes it even more amazing value for money.
I had already bought one pigment from them, but I wanted to get some more when my friend Angela and I visited Westfield a couple of months ago to helps stock up her kit with goodies for clients.
I also bought a purple gel eyeliner and highlighter, which I will show in a separate post.
I now have a collection of 6 pigments so far in the following colours:
INGLOT AMC PURE PIGMENT EYESHADOW 34
No. 34 is a bright pink shade, not for the faint hearted! I could see this being used in Asian Bridal or a bright festival inspired look.
INGLOT AMC PURE PIGMENT EYESHADOW 63
No. 63 is a burnt copper shade and very wearable. I’d say this is a shade, anyone can wear and would look great on every skin tone.
Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow in 73
No. 73 is such a gorgeous Royal purple shade. Normally, I’m terrified of purples, because they make me look like I’ve been punched, but this came out a true Royal Purple that is very flattering on the eyes.
INGLOT AMC PURE PIGMENT EYESHADOW 56
No. 56 is a true emerald green that is absolutely stunning. It’s a loft softer than I thought and very wearable.
INGLOT AMC PURE PIGMENT EYESHADOW 76
No. 76 is a cream, vanilla shade that would look amazing as a dramatic highlight in the inner corner or as a base for a warm smokey eye look.
INGLOT AMC PURE PIGMENT EYESHADOW 58
No. 58 is a vibrant blue shade that is just gorgeous on the eyes. Usually, blues tend to be very patchy but this applies fine even without primer when used with the Inglot Duraline.
I’ve made 2 videos demonstrating each of the eyeshadows on the eyes to show you how it applies to the skin.

Pros and Cons
The Inglot pigments retail for £16 each, which is the same as MAC but you get less product. 2g for Inglot versus 4.5g for MAC.
With a Makeup Artist discount of 20%, the price goes down to £12.80 which is still very pricey. However, I think the Inglot pigments are smaller and more portable.
MAC are owned by Estee Lauder who do test on animals as required by law in China, whilst Inglot does not. If this is a consideration for you, I would advise purchasing from Inglot.
