I was invited to visit the Caudalie boutique in Covent Garden, and after my mini facial, the therapist applied the Caudalie Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturizer in 02 Medium on me. I really like the way it felt on my skin, so when my NYX Tinted moisturizer finally finished, I decided to purchase this product.
The Cadualie Tinted Moisturizer is described as:
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Caudalie Vinoperfect Tinted Moisturizer is £27.00.
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
The product includes SPF, so is perfect as a light base for warmer climes when you want to look “natural” but not too natural but put together.
HOW DOES IT WEAR?
On my combination skin, without powder, I find it lasts maximum 2 hours without the need for blotting, which isn’t great in all honesty, but it is a very lightweight product.
WHAT COLOURS DID I BUY?
When the therapist applied it to me, she used the colour 02 medium but now I have tried it, I find this colour is way too dark for me, like 2 shades too dark and looks unnatural even when blended out.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
If it matched my skin, I would be rocking it, but I really like the consistency of it, and how it adds a glow to my skin.
It’s a shame, as I really liked this product, and when set with other makeup, it really makes you look great. Unfortunately, there are only 2 shades; Light & Medium.
If you’re darker or lighter, or someone in between, this has a very limited shade range, and I feel like this is something that could be improved.
